Travel Lessons Friday, 09. March 2012
Sitting on my flight to SXSW now, I'm looking back on my last three weeks of travelling, and figuring out what I learned.
These lessons seem to stand out:
- In the circles I tend to travel in these days, it's not 6 degrees of separation. It's more like one.
- I'm really stupid when booking flights. 6AM out of SFO, really?
- Friends waiting for you at the airport after a long flight is a great thing. I should do this more often when friends come to my city.
- When sick while travelling in an unfamiliar country, take the medication your host offers. Turns out it'll really work.
Touchdown Austin, the Weather sucks. I'll be tweeting about SXSW stuff on my new noise account @nominat
